The driveway as seen from our garage:

The garage. As you can see, it's a two car with ample room for storage, a freezer, indoor hockey arena...I'm sure we'll manage to do something with it. The big door behind the post is for humans, the small one off to the right is for our hobbit visitors.
THIS is the wall in our rec room.
When you walk into the recroom from the garage, you come into the right side (just beyond this closet. I'd remembered this room as being a bit bigger, but I thought it was carpeted. I'm glad it's lino - that suits using the room as a craft room very well (easy to clean up paint and chalk!) but I hope I can still put in some shelves and a counter for my own crafting.

Off even further to the right (West) is the guest bedroom. It's larger than it appears in this picture and will easily fit a queen bed and some furniture.

And to the West:
I walked out a bit further to see what the view was like. Not bad, eh?!
This is the view to the south/east from our hallway window: I'm sure eventually it will be covered in houses like the rest of BC, but for now it's really pretty.
Standing beside that window looking down to the recroom:
This is our kitchen and dining room just beyond: I love the round archways!

Our lovely deck. Can't wait to find some chairs/table for it! (Did I mention it has direct gas hook up for the bbq?)
Another view of our fireplace. This and the secluded backyard (by townhouse standards) are what sold me on this house).
The Den. And kids. And Andrew.

So far, I've decided we're painting the den and our bedroom. Eventually I will paint the main bathroom because it's cheaper to repaint it than buy new towels. Hmnn, but I know which one is more enjoyable...I may have to talk to my husband about that...and we'll paint our living room but probably not till the spring. So that's less challenging than I thought it would be. I'm bringing the kids bedding over tomorrow to make sure it goes with the room colours. Other than that, this house is in really good shape. Moving date July 30th!
