It's nice to be at this stage of the building process. Almost every time we go visit our house we can see progress being made. So fun!

As you can see, the framing is coming along pretty well. This is two days' worth of work, though apparently the first day the framers only worked for a few hours. So I guess it's one day plus a bit. The basement is pretty much framed.

The above shot is from mum's balcony looking at the back/side of our house. Below I'm standing in between the driveways looking at our garage.

This is the view into our garage, or, eventually from our back windows. It's so peaceful here, I can't wait to have this as our view!

A little bit closer view of the main floor.

Now I'm downstairs taking pictures of the back of the house. Those back windows are so nice and big it almost seems a shame to put a balcony on the back of the house. Luckily we will have good windows upstairs too :)

Straight on view of the basement.

The pond side of the house.

And the view from the above window. Nice, hunh? That's a pond down there.

This is me standing in the basement. They still have to pour the concrete for the floor, but still, that window is HIGH!!
Back of the basement towards the backyard.

The windows with our gorgeous view!
