Now the fun stuff starts to get exciting...

Now that all that important foundational stuff has been done on our house, it's time for some of the fun stuff to start!! Last week they poured the concrete for the remaining stairs/pathways and the driveway.

Here it is...pebbly like Kat's.

And it goes right up to the front door. I was expecting a small front porch - just a bit wider than the doorway and up to the post. So I'll be interested to see what they do here. I hope it's not just a step.

The inside of the garage is primed.

And this is the view from the kitchen to the living room. In this light, all the wall colours look the same. you get a better idea from looking the other direction,

Though now the kitchen looks very dark. The contrast isn't quite that strong. It's hard to tell in a room that doesn't have lights and on a rainy day!!

Maybe this is better?

The den is the same dark brown.

And our bathroom is this lovely blue.

Tink's bedroom:

On Wednesday they'll start with the vinyl siding. The carpenter already started working on the windows and he'll continue with some of the finishing details. Apart from that I don't know what comes next. We've been trying to reach the cabinet guy for ages without much success. I'd like to see drawings of what he's doing since it's not at all like what he did in Kathi or any of Corey's houses.

Won't be in Langley again till Friday so by then I'm sure there will be lots more to take pictures of again!!
